Just been reading the thread about these. I'm gob-smacked!
Anyway, if there's going to be another batch I'd be interested.

Re: Mounting ADFS Images in Ubuntu/Linux

ADFS Explorer also could not read your RO3.adf which is weird. Does ADFS use all of one side of a floppy, then all of the other (ie concatenate), or does it alternate head 0/1 (as a PC does)? The RO3.adf image will be head interleaved, and I suspect it needs to be a dump of one side then the other....

dd if=inputfile of=outputfile bs=512 skip=1

will skip 1 block of 512 bytes from the input, and should do what you need.

Re: Mounting ADFS Images in Ubuntu/Linux

The "*" in the "od" output means "pattern repeats", ie the previous line is repeated until the offset at the start of the next line. Personally I'd use "hexdump -C", (NB uppercase C) rather than "od" (as the ASCII character decode is useful), but it'...

If that's no good, you'll have to chop the adapter plug off and solder on one of the correct type.

I have 3 Winchester drive units that Arcadian has asked me to overhaul for him, I am lead to believe they are having trouble startring. Dave says that he has to switch em on and off multiple times before they start. This could be caused by hard drive stiction, rather than power supply issues: http:...

There's a Micro Men DVD (from the original production company, I believe) on eBay:

There were torrents of it available in the past...
