Greetings!

Postby torrind » Tue Dec 05, 2017 10:43 pm

Hi All,

Long time listener, first time caller.

So this happens to be the first time I've ever joined a forum. Dug out my trusty Beeb recently, added a Turbo MMC and I'm away :D

Looking for other Beeb related projects at the mo. I'm looking at getting a Raspberry Pi Zero enabled second co-proc for the Beeb and wonder if any of you have had any experience with them? are they any good?

The reason being is that I want to run a full version of COBOL on it (CIS??) (not just the small 32k version I'm running at the moment). If I can find a copy that is.

Anyway, great to join the forum and look forward to being a productive member of society!

Darren

Welcome and good timing, keep an eye in this thread for your CoPro.
I have a City and Guilds in COBOL (with distinction - I think) but have never used it since :?

Hi Darren, Welcome!

There should be digital copies of CIS COBOL knocking about. If you're looking for ways to get it on to actual media I'm sure the collective we can get you fixed up :)
