Greetings from Hideaway Studio..... aka BrokenARM Music (B.A.M.)

Postby BrokenARM » Sat Jul 22, 2017 12:27 pm

As you've guessed it I'm new on here but certainly not new to the Acorn scene... :D

I've been watching with a mixture of amusement and nostalgia various games and demos I wrote the music for under the guise of BrokenARM way back when I was 18 slowly resurface on YouTube and various forums over the past few years. In fact I wrote some of the very first 8 channel music modules on the Arc in !Tracker.

Probably better known from those days for my sins for...

Music suites for the Arc games !Phaethon and !Hamsters
Music for the Chip Duo's demo !TCD2 which I was amused to see bundled with at least one Archimedes emulator

A ton of !Tracker modules that ended up on various PD compilations.

These days I'm a sound designer and vintage synth specialist restoring/overhauling a vast amount of cherished/rare studio equipment privately for a number of world famous EM musicians.

With this in mind I would be very interested to hear from anyone who owns a BBC UMI-2B sequencer system as a famous client of mine has recently acquired a system and now hungry for more technical info - especially the schematics!!

Dan Wilson, Hideaway Studio.
