Hi Sydney

I have a suspicion that this is another DFS under emulation problem - like E-Type and Clogger and may need the 1770 DFS selecting to work.
If someone could let us know.

Mick.

Not sure if you saw this cross-thread, but I wrote a program that looked at all the game titles and spotted some duplicates (based on the DSD's leenew sent me)

Sea Wolf (Disc051) already exists on Disc018
Duck! (Disc058) already exists on Disc026
Reversi (Disc082) already exists on Disc076
Darts (Disc087) already exists on Disc057
Adventure (Disc095) already exists on Disc092
Robin Of Sherwood (Disc100) already exists on Disc055
Battleships (Disc113) already exists on Disc082
Lunar Run (Disc114) already exists on Disc113
Fruity (Disc114) already exists on Disc107
Napoleon (Disc115) already exists on Disc114

Unsure if these are real duplicates or not. Napoleon and Lunar Run generate identical SSDs when using my split-program.

Hi Sweh,

All the above games are simply same title but different game except...

Lunar Run (Disc114) already exists on Disc113
Napoleon (Disc115) already exists on Disc114

These 2 were simply place holders on discs I was creating and sent to Lee.
I had to change some titles around as I discovered I had already got them under different names and software companies - The games taken off discs 113 and 114 will be available via Alternative disc 010 in a few weeks.

The completed disc 114 will also be posted around Easter.

Hopefully by then, all my discs will have been re-posted featuring the best possible versions of each game.

regards,
Mick.

I tend to avoid the Times Square area as much as possible; it's too full of tourists.

Oh, I don't have any problems; was wasn't expecting those results and so asked about them ;-) If you say they're good then that's fine by me :-)

Another question, though; the title for disc 112 is "D*.C 112" - is that correct?

Just re-posted Disc003 again - due to finding the correct instructions for Zalaga.
The Alternative Software re-issue ones have been found along with some original Galaga ones from the internet and so I have included them all.

Sorry about this, but I believe this now gives us the best info for the game.

regards,

Mick.

Just re-posted Disc004 again - due to finding the inlay instructions for Cosmic Fighter.
These are taken from the TRS-80 version and have been edited to reflect the BBC version of the game.
Sorry about this, but I believe this now gives us the best info for the game until the actual BBC inlay (if it exists) becomes available.

regards,

Mick.

Each one needs typing in and then sending to Lee for super-checking!

I will sort these in disc order.

watch out!

Mick.

PS Sorry for having to re-post some of the discs again, but a find like these cannot be ignored or missed!

As promised!
Here it is... Disc 114.

Disc114.zip
(141.38 KiB) Downloaded 22 times

Yet again, another mixed bag of goodies for Easter 2017.

Firstly there are some standard basic games like Trawler, Amazing and Diamond Trial.
Then there are the usual Micro User/Electron User/Acorn Computing games including Ploy and Hypersmash.
Death Zone is a brand new game by Tom Lindberg. You can save your score to disc. (The routine for doing this has been amended from the original version to avoid having to press Break).
Gotta Go Home by Viking saves to disc. It is another GAC adventure and is the universal version and works OK under BeebEm and b-em as well as a real BBC.
Miss Fortune And The Seven Keys is by Adrian Smith.
Bridge To The East by Ixion resets the disc drive (so requires *DTRAP on a real BBC with a Datacentre fitted).
Break-Out is part of the Classic Arcade Games compilation by Ganymede.
Sailplane! is by Pavilion.
Napoleon is by Molimerx.
Timelords is by Red Shift.
Lastly,
Jolly Jake's Escape is by Arrowsoft.

regards,
Mick.

Discs 115 and 116 are in production, but a long way off completion at this point in time.

NOTE: The games on this disc have been checked for *KEY issues and are now all OK.
