Hi, duikkie. Thanks for the upload!

One of the games, "+.AVONIJL", seems to be Egypt Adventure, from the book Op Avontuur met de BBC

which is the original Dutch version of the book Adventures with the BBC Microcomputer

by Wichert van Engelen.

I haven't read the book, and I hadn't seen this game before (Dutch or English). It looks quite good -- nice, chunky Mode 7 graphics! -- but I don't understand Dutch, so it might take me some time to figure out! Also, it plays quite a repetitive "tune" all the time, which is... interesting! :|

Unfortunately, I can't say much about the other game, "+.GOMPIE", because it doesn't have any pictures to help me out! :(

Thanks, maybe I'll try! 8-[

So, is van Engelen's book all about text adventure games?

Can you upload a photo or transcript of the contents page? (I know it's in Dutch, but it might still give me some idea of what it's about! [-o< )

(Btw I added some screen shots of Egypt Adventure to my first post in this thread, above.)

Ah, thanks again, duikkie!

The map led me to this page --

-- which seems to have another version of Egypt Adventure. It seems to be a bit buggy but it may be the original.

(That page also has many other Dutch (and some English) text adventures, for the Beeb and for other 8-bit machines. Interesting.)
