Trying to find Arc educational (?) adventure

Postby tautology » Wed Jul 22, 2015 9:41 pm

I'm asking on behalf of a friend who's trying to locate a game she played on the Arcs when she was in school (mid to late 90s), to quote her:
Help me out here: I'm trying to pin down the name of a text-and-graphics adventure on the Archimedes. It was set in Ancient Egypt, but wasn't one of the Arcventure games.
It was set in a city, presumably Cairo. I think I was supposedly educational... or at least, I found it installed on the Arcs at my school.

I've come up with nowt, but I've never really gone into the educational side. Does this strike any memories with anybody?

My archives are for 8-bit educational titles for the BBC. I have some 32-bit software but these are generally conversions of existing 8-bit titles.

I have a vague memory of the software you mention from late in my primary school years. I believe there was an ancient greeks one also, focused on Thesues and the minotaur. Unfortunately I have no idea what the software was called or where to even begin to find it.

Have you checked CJE's price list for inspiration? :)
