How to use the programme atm2wav

Postby John Ferguson » Sat Oct 28, 2017 4:35 pm

Is there any advice or even a video on how to use in a Command shell the programme to convert atm format files to wav format.

I am referring to the programme atm2wav.exe.

A typical line of the programme plus file reference would help me.

Currently I drag the programme into the command window but do not know how to go further.

AcornAtom>atm2wav /?
ATM2WAV V1.1.0

Produces a WAV representing a cassette image of the supplied ATM.
WAV will be 44.1khz, 16 bit, mono.

Usage: atm2wav atmfile[.atm] [options]

Options:
out= Output filename. Optional, defaults to <infile>.wav
unnamed Save as unnamed file.
short Short headers - 3 sec. instead of 5, reduced inter-block gap.

you need to open a DOS window and run it from there with parameters.

Now able to convert files to wav format from atm types.

Programmes converted and successfully loaded onto the Atom.

This has been possible due to the help I received.
