This beeb may or may not be worth a look....

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/311816243294?ul_noapp=true

Says untested but one of the photo's shows the LED's are on so the caps probably blew whilst having it's photo shoot for Ebay.

Still, three switches on the left hand side would indicate more than just a rudimentary speaker control. SW RAM/ROM board perhaps?

That's our (Baildon Electronics) Floppy Disc Interface (I have one :D ). We had plans for another card to plug-in on top of it. You'd receive the new board and a replacement back panel. Unfortunately we split from P.R.E.S. before any topper boards were made :?

If the motherboard hasn't been chewed away by a battery leak... We really need to get away from normalising crazy prices here!

Yes ! I rushed buying it NOW ... if it could be one with an Adelaide board, it would make my day / week / month

For sure these days battery leak is a common 'gift' with these machines ... and it's even more atrocious when it's a mezzanine Archie, since the battery is next to the daugtherboard ...

I think it would be cute if someone with an Adelaide A3010 were to make a Rasberry Pi Compute module board to plug into it as an upgrade... Perhaps modify the RiscOS code to be able to use the on-board floppy etc... :D At least, it's what I would consider doing if I had one.

Oh Gosh !
Herr Merkel selling her A5000 on EBay.
Sounds very plausible ;-)

I've just checked and you are absolutely right.
So who bought this machine at that price.
I want to know ... My max bid was € 303

And it wasn't an alpha ... I was wrong.

€304 for an A5000 marked as faulty and without a keyboard. Who said the retro market is cooling down?

Fair enough, it is fitted with a memory upgrade and FPA10, but still...

Yes, as you say 'still' and it's not even a rarer alpha ... but well the FPA isn't exactly wide spread, so ...
Oh and no mouse, this pricey little thing quite necessary to use an Archie ...

Oh dear, I've just found another seller (French oops) who won't post to the U.K :
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PC-ENGINE-SHA ... SwtGlZEFVv

'
I will NOT SHIP to United Kingdom unless the buyer agrees to pay for online tracked and insured airmail (17€ up to 1 kilogram, which is around 4-5 games..the shipping charge won't change up to that)

Thanks

Due to too many UK buyers who are too cheap to pay for insurance, and other UK buyers who pay for insurance and then complain about french post shipping quotes for which I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE (Yes,i DO NOT DECIDE OF NATIONAL FRENCH POST PRICES),and then let me a negative feedback

I can't take lies and lame excuses anymore for unfair negative feedbacks, so ,after 15 years on Ebay, i'm sorry to say that I WILL NOT SHIP TO UNITED KINGDOM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES anymore.

'

What a pity to read that on such a day where we should be so grateful for saving us a few decades ago ...

Theyre all pretty tatty but they come with some really interesting additions. I'm particularly intrigued with the one fitted with Arthur.

A cheap A1200 to collect in the West Midlands :
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Commodore-Ami ... Sw42dZFAQB
EDIT : There's a picture of the game DOOM
To my knowledge, it is slow as a crippled snail on an A1200 without an accelerator board ... so there could be a very good surprise for the buyer of this machine.
