Yes. Make it look professional I have access to Photoshop and a very good quality photocopier, I was thinking maybe, £5 a copy and £2 pound for a disc image download. Is this too expensive ? .
I was looking through my Reaxion program this afternoon which is 100% assembler with no comments so it will take me an evening to work out what every think does.

Here is a list of games I have at various stages.

1, Space Invaders 80% complete not really commercial

2, Pong 80% complete not really commercial

3, Arcadians 2 85% complete all elements are there just need to add levels, would need to change name probably.

4, Star nova 70% complete

5, Battle star, 65% need complete, need to add levels and sounds/ music very similar to galaforce

6, Firetrack clone, Only a demo of the scroll and ship but would love to finish this off.

Anyway I will see how I get on over the next couple of weeks with finishing Reaxion. If anybody interested email me at this address Jameswatson1974@hotmail.com for idea of numbers. If this project goes well I would have ago at finishing Battle star and Arcadians 2.

P.s I’ve been playing Sim City this afternoon and once you get into it, it’s a great game.

All this talk of new BBC games inspires me to finish Reaxion. Release it as either a download or if there is enough interest I would be willing to sell it on disc only in a tidy wallet. May be a run of 30 and donate any profits to charity. Are there any takers on this idea ?.

Definitely. I think it would be easier to make it available as a download although I'm not sure if Cronosoft will do that. They said they were happy to have downloads but I've not heard or seen anything since just the advertisement for Egghead.

It's getting me more and more inspired as well. I'll demo my work so far on my long ago written game, if there's any interest it'll persuade me to complete. But even re-starting it will mean it still won't be finished for about 18 moths due to so many other commitments.

Got the beeb bug again been through all the source code tonight and added comments what everythink does.

1. Need to add high score table, which i will take from my arcadians 2 game

2. Add a loading screen with some borrowed trendy music

3. Instructions screen

4. There are currently 10 levels, will make it up to 100 then the game will loop and a congratulations message will appear. The player can then continue with shorter time limits.

5. Add some sound and that will be it.

The first 10 levels are the same as the c64 version but i think i will design the rest myself.

I also think i may change the name of the game and release it under my own label.

Quite deservedly so! :)

You were actually one of my programming "heroes" when I was learning how to program games on the BBC all those years ago (seems like yesterday).

Kind regards,

Francis.
