Hello

Post by tnash »

Hello from Hull... we had a BBC B and and Electron when I was a kid. Nostalgia hit in my 40s and so picked up a refurbed B a few weeks ago. Really enjoying myself so far, made a character editor that is slowly morphing into a sprite and map editor, and very basic BASIC versions of Wordle and the mobile game Drop7. I've remembered all of the BASIC I knew, which amazes me given it was 30 years ago.. and remembered none of the 6502 assembler (which tbh wasn't an awful lot!)

Welcome tnash and happy tinkering!

Please do share what you're coding when you're happy with it, even if it's hints and tips you can share.

Cheers

Thanks all. I'm particularly enjoing not being able to explain to the family why their 44-year-old husband and father made a big stupid whooping noise when he (I) managed to writie a byte of data to SWRAM and saw the evidence in black-and-white in EXMON !
