Tomorrow morning (Sun 17th Jan) we will make a second attempt to perform a major update to the forum software. The site will be down for a period of time whilst this occurs so apologies for the outage.

General advice is to always store any big posts you're about to make in the clipboard (or in a separate text editor), before you submit it to the site, just in case there any network problems.

As always, if you have any issues or comments, shout out in the feedback forum.

It looks like the upgrade has been successful. I can post a message and the board looks as usual. There was some downtime (a white screen) for a short time because after the new files were installed the forum crashed. I needed some time to figure out what was wrong. After clearing the cache and re-applying the file system permissions the board came back to life. After that I could finish the upgrade and we're now at the latest version in the 3.2.x branch.
