I made some maps and a scoring guide last time we played this: viewtopic.php?p=152289#p152289

There are 4 map layouts that cycle, so level 5 has the same as layout as level 1 etc, with different colours. I could only get that far using emulator save states though!

Playing Street Fighter V at the moment. Waiting for someone to get near or beat my score on Cybertron Mission before I play again as each game takes slightly over half an hour.

Okay, I finally caved in and had a couple of goes. When you get to around 50K even the spinners start to shoot now and again

A score improvement, but still stuck on level 5, needed to find 1 more object (found the safe) but just couldn't find it, got a better score as spent ages wandering around shooting more things.

Finally got off level 5 and onto Level 6, think this will be the last chance I get to play it now.

If anyone didn't know - you can actually shoot the ghost and stop it in it's tracks, gives you time to get away.

Yeah it does get quite hectic, especially when you're in rooms with narrow straight bits with little room to manoeuvre. What you have to be mindful of is the position of the blue and yellow baddies (can't remember their names offhand). You need to try and make sure that you're not in a direct line with them (either horizontally, vertically or diagonally). They shoot in the direction they're currently moving in too, so that gives you some leeway to get yourself in a position to shoot them when they're moving away from you.

I did do a YouTube video of my 2nd go when I scored 39K+ but I've improved a bit since then. I may do another video if I get the time to play today.

I just had a final go, and although I didn't beat my previous high of just over 65K, I got pretty close to it. You can see how hectic it is on levels 4 and 5 but it may also give you a few survival tips...

High Score Tables Updated for Season 18, Round Four......

This is a very well written game but man it can get crazy with those robots shooting at everything. There were some very nice scores on this one.

Well, the winner of this game is Venger with just over 65k in this game. On some games that's not much but in this game it is Herculean in scope. Nice going and congratulations Venger on a great win and an amazing score.

On a side note I'd like to thank all those who played this round. We had 12 playing this game this round so.....Thank you!!! It seems we are mostly averaging out at 11 so this participation is a bit above average.

As usual please check to ensure I've not missed anyone's scores as I'm officially old (72nd birthday June 11) and it's easy to miss things on this and I really don't want to do that for anyone's hard earned score.
