Thanks for the post link and also to the synth software I’ll take a look at that when I get around to looking into sound in more detail hopefully soon. The Creative Sound book has a programmable synth program as well but I’ve not yet completed it so it’ll be interesting to see what they both can do.

Interesting re the lack of bass on the BBC - It’s not something that I’ve thought about too much before. However when I think about many of the C64 games over the years there’s clearly a difference! Horses for courses as they say…
